Aquaculture America and World Aquaculture 2005 Conferences
Announcement of Student Poster Awards for Aquaculture America (New Orleans) and World Aquaculture (Bali)
Sponsored by the Aquaculture CRSP
The Aquaculture CRSP will provide three student awards each at the New Orleans and Bali meetings (First place and two second place: $400, $200 each) to the posters judged as the best representatives of research and development conducted to advance sustainable aquaculture.
All posters submitted by students will be considered and no special application will be needed (although students should clearly identify themselves in their registration and poster abstract forms). Posters reporting on work conducted primarily by the student will be given the greatest weight.
The additional criteria will include degree of contribution to sustainable aquaculture, technical quality, presentation and use of graphics and overall applicability and benefits of the results.
